CaityPies are always:

+Small-batch

+Handmade

+In Season Produce

+Alcohol Infused Flavors

+Featuring Local/Small Business Products

+Preservative Free

CaityPies is a small-batch, handmade pie bakery in Nashville, TN built on the philosophy of real food, quality ingredients, heritage artisanship, and supporting small and local business.

CaityPies are made with a turn of the century lard/butter crust with the addition of salty cornmeal for a hefty & flaky crust that make a firm home for each of our handpie fillings.

CaityPies is committed to sourcing our eggs, produce, and meats as locally and ethically as possible, which is why we rotate our flavors each month to stay in touch with our local farmers and availability.

CaityPies specializes in handpies which, much like traditional Southern fry pies, are handmade half-moon shaped 6" treats, equal to one serving of pie.  CaityPies are baked instead of fried.

CaityPies also produces traditional round pies (9") for special orders and events in many of our sweet and savory flavors.

We are happy to design your pie with any words/shapes you'd like!  Our pies have been used to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, and a number of other celebrations.  Let us know what you're looking for and we will help make it a reality!

"Growing up in Wisconsin, I have always associated pie & baking with comfort & home.  My very first job at age 14 was washing dishes and eventually scooping dough in a bakery near my parent's house.  After traveling - studying music, language, nutrition, business, & investments - I've returned to my childhood dream of baking & sharing my creations.
Every day I revel in the beauty & creativity of each pie & flavor.  I love working with natural & local foods, & apply my training in organics & nutrition to my work.  I run my kitchen with the utmost attention to detail, quality, & consistency.
None of this would be possible without the support of my community, friends, family, & partner.  My thanks to the dreamer, companion, #1 TasteTester/DishWasher and newly minted Baker by my side."
